Senna is native to tropical Africa and cultivated in Egypt, the Sudan and elsewhere. People in northern Africa and southwestern Asia have used senna to support healthy bowel function for centuries.
Directions
To prepare as a tea, pour 8 oz. boiling water over 1/2 tsp. of herb. Cover and steep 3-5 minutes, strain and serve immediately.

Not for use in persons with intestinal obstruction, abdominal pain of unknown origin, or any inflammatory condition of the intestines.
